Help choosing a metric for public health data
Hey guys! I've had a public health class project regarding whether changes in covid mask mandates have significantly changed the geographic distribution of covid cases in my state, and I was wondering what the best metric to determine whether a significant change occurred. My thinking was to measure this metric for a period of time before and after the mask mandate to see if any significant change occurred. My professor said something about density analysis, but I'm not finding much luck/information on it. I'm working in python, and currently have data for covid cases over time for the last 600 days in a geodataframe - I'm just a bit confused what the best analysis from here would be. submitted by /u/beatsbysurf [link] [comments]

Fear of vaccines grows with the need for medical ethics [PODCAST]
“While individual doctors have obligations to both the individual and public health, their first concern is their patients. And these decisions have to acknowledge fears and respect the stance.
